Well today’s post is very late – but that was because I have been on vacation. Well a STAYCATION.

After an 8.5 mile very hot run on Saturday, Dave and I headed to his parent’s empty house in Tiburon for the evening. Just a quick drive over the bridge and we were in a tourist hot spot.

We decided to indulge in drinks and dinner on the patio outside of the local hotel.

The rest of the evening was spent watching Showtime with surround sound and enjoying the view of the city from the balcony.

It was a quick trip but it was a well needed break from the reality of the city.

Do you ever take staycations?
