Do you ever feel like you never even had a weekend when you head back to work on Monday? I had a great weekend but as the alarm went off bright and early yesterday morning I felt like I never had a break. I convinced myself I would avoid the Monday blues if I started the day off with a nice run.
It’s been a bit of a struggle to reach the miles I want to achieve since getting back into running after 6 weeks off, but I have managed to keep up the miles this week and it’s starting feel more natural and less of a strain. Every time I run on the treadmill I run the last 1/4 mile faster than the rest to release any remaining energy and finish strong. I feel like I have to race to the finish line.
