A Bientot

In the words of the great Winnie the Pooh “How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard.”

How true. Last night I had to say goodbye, for now, to my mom who hopped on a plane back to the east coast. We had a fabulous time together, exploring the city – seeing some of my favorite places and visiting new spots that I have never even seen. (Definitely check out my list of great places in San Francisco below for not to miss places on your next Bay Area vacation).

I love living here, but here is miles and miles away from my family, who I am very close with. We do a great job of seeing each other every few months and we always have a great time when we get together, but it doesn’t make it any easier to say goodbye.

So thanks mom, for the past few days of adventures and memories, I can’t wait till we are all together again.

For those of you who came to my blog today looking for some exercise insight, take some advice from these fellow bloggers:

Paige from Running Around Normal knows how to fit in a quick but meaningful workout.

Julie from Peanut Butter Fingers has a great elliptical workout that wont leave you bored.

And I use this elliptical workout from the Fitnessista as my go to workout when I am not running.
