With my mom no longer here to play tourist, I went back to work as usual. And while I of course miss my mom and our adventures, it was nice to go back to the everyday routine and settle in the comfort of normalcy.
Breakfast was full of protein to fuel me through Monday morning:
1/4 cup of old fashioned oats
1/2 cup of almond milk
1/4 egg whites
The day passed as usual and before I knew it I was back at the gym on the elliptical. I finished my workout with the following group of exercises courtesy of Health Magazine.
I’ll do anything to strengthen my glutes, back and core and this was nice and quick.
Dinner was fresh veggies from the farmer’s market, nutritional yeast and an egg 🙂
