Saturday mornings…normally reserved for long runs, is now a time for the water.
(my bathing suit is under my clothes, no bathing suit shots just yet folks)
I got all geared up and headed off to the local Y for some laps.
I am by no means a good swimmer, but I know how to get from one end of the pool to the other using my arms and kicking. I swim for at least a half our straight and yesterday I threw in some laps with just kicking using a kick board.
Every time I go I can tell I am getting stronger because it’s just a little bit easier. I am excited to keep up my routine and go a few days this week – all in the name of getting back in shape and building up my left leg muscles.
