I recently purchased a crock pot and it is a life saver. During the week I work very long hours and now that I go to the pool I get home even later. So it’s crock pot for the win!
I make a meal sunday night and then I have it to either take for lunch – so I don’t have to worry about preparing my meals in the morning – or I have dinner ready to heat up.
This week’s meal was super simple – lean ground turkey, veggies, chicken broth and lots of thyme, basil and garlic 🙂
And while making my meals like this makes it much easier to go to work – it still doesn’t mean I wouldn’t rather be doing this:

YUM, that meal looks yummy. Hey can you send me the recipe or anything else, my hubby needs to lose about 50 lbs. I need something to get him started.
