Yesterday my company said goodbye to a coworker as it was her last day of work. While I will miss her presence in the office and having her as my desk neighbor, I am happy she has found other opportunities that will fulfill her.
Even though it was sad realizing that I would not see her face on Monday morning, Friday was a great excuse for the company to celebrate at a local happy hour. It was nice to get everyone out of the office setting and bonding over drinks.
I also tried my hand at the lovely Big Buck Hunt machine
but let’s just say you do not want to take me hunting.
(That 50% accuracy wasn’t even me – I did much worse)
So Annie, I wish you all the best in your next job, thanks for being my desk buddy and thanks for the smiles.
How do you say goodbye to coworkers?
