Tea Leaf Salad

Yesterday was a special day, complete with a surprise delivery of beautiful flowers.

And a celebratory dinner at a restaurant I have been meaning to try for a very long time.

The meal was delicious but the best part was the Tea Leaf Salad.

They mix together all of the ingredients, lentils, peanuts, sesame seeds, garbanzo beans, garlic, lettuce and fermented tea leaves.

This is the most delicious salad with incredibly unique flavors that are worth the hour plus wait to get into the restaurant.

I can’t wait to go back for many more celebratory occasions  or for when I’m just craving some tea in my salad.
