that the world did not end today.
2012 might have been a very tough year, but I am determined to have a brighter 2013, so thank goodness when I woke up I found the Earth still intact.
In addition to my life altering running accident, I was forced to change jobs due to an office relocation, I lost my Grammy, one of my dearest family members, close family and friends suffered from illness and my boyfriend of 5 years had to leave our home in San Francisco to go to medical school in Israel.
There have been some tough times this year, but with every challenge I have found something inside of me that I never knew I had. I learned how strong I am in the face of the unknown, how resourceful I can be, and how motivated I am to reach new goals.
I am on my way to a full recovery from my accident and I am proud of who I have become this year. There is so much to look forward to in 2013, and no matter what challenge pops up next, after this year, I know I have the poise and determination to face it.
The world did not end today, so take this time to reflect on all that you have accomplished and all that you have to look forward to in the new year.
