Making the holiday spirit last

It’s that time again.

and enjoying all of these things with friends and family.

The holidays bring people together and inspire others to reach out to long lost friends and family, but I think that this should not just be relegated to the holiday season. I think that we should all make an effort to get together with loved ones, friends, family, acquaintances,  that friend you keep meaning to call, throughout the year. Choose a random day in March and fly out to for a long weekend to see your old college roommate, or call your friend in Canada every Thursday night to check in, or even plan a potluck with all of your friends next Friday, just because.

Let’s all plan to continue the joy of spending time with friends and family after the Christmas trees are taken to the curb and the New Year’s confetti is cleaned up.

I hope you are all enjoying your time with loved ones this holiday, I certainly am and I know I can’t wait until 2013 when I spend even more time with the people I hold close to my heart.
