Trust is a four letter word and other ways in which I prove I was overly exhausted yesterday

If you had a chance to read yesterday’s blog post before I updated it this morning you would have seen a glaring error in the first sentence.

When writing that post last night I wrote, “Trust is just a four letter word.” Did you catch it? Do you see the majorly incorrect fact? Trust obviously does not consist of four letters and I certainly know that it is comprised of 5 letters. However, last night I was so tired that I didn’t catch this fallacy and was in fact asleep within 10 minutes of writing this post.

To continue to prove my exhaustion let me just also add that I set an alarm for 7:02 am this morning. But, when I jumped out of bed the clock said 8:22 am! I had completely slept through my alarm, turning it off in my sleep. I never do this. Most days I don’t even need an alarm, waking up naturally before my set alarm is supposed to go off. So I can only imagine that I desperately needed this sleep.

I managed to get myself to the studio in time to open a little early and get the heaters going. Regardless of getting to where I needed to be on time, it was still very unnerving to start the day all flustered. Plus, I didn’t have a chance to make my morning green juice!

However, later in the afternoon I was able to sit down and get some work done for the studio accompanied by a delicious green juice comprised of:

  • Romaine lettuce
  • Kale
  • 1 Apple
  • 1 Pear
  • 1/2 Lemon
  • 1/2 inch of Ginger

Have you every slept through your alarm?
