Taking Advantage of Nice Weather

“The coldest winter I ever saw was the summer I spent in San Francisco.” Mark Twain

Walking around San Francisco people are wearing winter coats, hats and scarves. However, they are plenty over dressed for the balmy 50 degree weather we are experiencing. Back in New Jersey it’s below freezing, but here in the bay area it was warm enough to go for a walk in just a sweatshirt.

So, to take full advantage of the weather, we enjoyed the fantastic view from across the bay:

Right after this excursion the typical San Francisco winter weather started with cold rain. But we were able to warm up with a delicious Shabbat dinner with friends we hold near and dear to our hearts.

As the rain continues to fall, I am off to bed to start another wonderful day back in California.

I hope everyone is staying warm in their respective winter wonderlands!
