It’s officially February, which means that I have been a vegan (more or less) for a whole month. Ever since the cleanse started back on January first I have taken flour and sugar out of my diet, as well as animal products.
When I started the cleanse I didn’t plan to take it past its 3 week duration, but I am finding that I am enjoying my new eating habits. I feel good, I feel leaner and I love exploring new recipes in the kitchen.
Like tonight, I cooked up some veggies and purple rice and then made a green sauce by blending together:
water
apple cider vinegar
tahini
basil
