This is a public service announcement:
It’s called a yoga practice NOT a yoga performance.
You are not showing off your flexibility or performing a difficult asana so others can applaud you.
It’s your personal yoga practice and it’s called a “practice” for a reason.
When you are practicing you are supposed to make mistakes and fall out of balance and take breaks. It’s ok 🙂
Sometimes we get caught up in striving for the next pose or the deeper variation, when all we need to remember is that our time on the mat is just for us. And it should be a time where we play, try out new things and listen to our bodies.
