If you’re not a Tyra Banks fan I will explain that “smizing” is smiling with your eyes.

This afternoon I went for my wedding hair and makeup trial and thought I would share with you all a sneak peak of my eye makeup:

So now I’m all done-up with no where to go…

Well that’s not completely true. Tomorrow morning I will be heading to the Dominican Republic for my studio’s yoga retreat.

(I assure you that my hairdo and makeup will not be making the journey with me).

I am really excited to be in a warm, serene place, working on my practice with some lovely people. I will update on the blog while I’m there but it might be on the minimalist side.

Stay warm while I’m gone. I’ll be sending sunny and tropical thoughts back to the east coast.
