If you love salads in San Francisco then Blue Barn is the place for you. This is one of my all time favorite places to grab a giant salad from because of their make your own option and their wide variety of staple salads. The following recipe is a spin off of their delicious Detox Salad that I created to satisfy my cravings for when I can’t make it to the cafe or dont have the money to spare.
Flax seeds (or sunflower seeds or even both)
Celery (or any other crunchy veggie to add some texture)
Apple (granny smith or pink ladies work well – they add a bit of a kick)
Thin slices of raw kale
Dressing: Dijon mustard, olive oil, apple cider vinegar
