Sunday’s seem to move slower than any other day of the week, but of course, they are never long enough. My laziest day of the week consisted of a pilates class, the farmer’s market, grocery shopping, cleaning and cooking.
With a bit more time on my hands than usual I decided to bake and cook a nice dinner with the help of some experts. I decided to make turkey patties inspired by Fitness magazine’s Cherry Burgers:
My version included:
– Extra lean turkey
– Dried cherries
– Garlic powder
– Worcester sauce
– Panko bread crumbs
– honey mustard
I put them in a 450 degree oven until they were done and served it with some freshly steamed broccoli, avocado and arugula from the farmers market.
In honor of Dave’s return from his bike ride down the coast I made Katie’s (Chocolate Covered Katie) Peanut Butter Cookies and they are A-M-A-Z-I-N-G and SO easy and quick to make!
And once again it is Monday so I hope everyone else enjoyed their break and I wish everyone a productive and speedy week!
