Remember when I used to leave the house at 7am and get home around 6:30pm and did a whole bunch of stuff in the middle? Well yesterday I went back to doing that stuff in the middle – I went to WORK!!

I did not go for a full day but I went in around noon and left at 5:30pm and it felt great to be back. It was a great distraction and it was wonderful to see everyone and get back in the swing of things.

After work I was scooped up by Dave and we headed across the bridge to Tiburon to see his sister and her family who are visiting from NC.

We had Mexican for dinner – chips and guacamole!!

And of course there was time for some games on the kids menu

Why don’t all menus have fun activities?

Needless to say I was exhausted after a long day of sitting and working and seeing family.

I am eager to go back to work, but I am sticking to half days to keep recovery a priority 🙂
