I have always tried to work out 6-7 days a week for my physical and mental health. With this injury it has been even more important to work out but also just as important to take rest days. Each day I work out I am focusing on my glutes especially on my left side (injured side) and my core, as well as keeping my cardio up. But with less muscle mass than I am used to in my left side I get exhausted much more quickly and I need to let these smaller muscles rest more often.
So while I would rather be pushing my exercise everyday, for now I am listening to my body and taking a break when enough is enough. On those rest days I still try to get in at least some walking on my break at work but other than that I am either, hanging with friends, cuddling with the cat,
reading funny things on the internet
or watching trashy tv.
