Well, it’s more like a smoothie, but it’s still delicious.
First I soaked the almonds in water over night:
Then I peeled off the skins:
I then blended the peeled almonds in the blender with water, agave and a bit of vanilla extract.
The blender I used is about 30 years old so it didn’t liquify all of the almonds as smoothly as a fancy Vitamix might have. But my “almond milk” tastes delicious and I plan to use it as a base for a smoothie tomorrow morning 🙂
