Sunday Sunday Sunday

Most people are not too pleased when they realize they have only a few hours left to their weekend. They dread going back to the Monday grind, staring at a computer for hours, and realizing they have very little time for themselves.

While I am tired from working all weekend at the studio, and I do teach a very early 7:30am class on Mondays, I am not sad that the weekend is almost over. At this point in my life I have the unique opportunity to explore one of my passions, yoga, as a career. I still work in front of a computer throughout the day, but when I am not tending to web-based studio needs, I am teaching.

I get to exercise and deepen my mind body connection, all while guiding others in their own yoga practice.

I am used to the 9 to 5 (well, more like the 8am to 8pm) and it’s been so refreshing to step away from the traditional office into a special space where more than just stretching and strengthening the body happens.

At this moment, I do not know what the future holds in terms of my career. But I can say that I feel very lucky to share my love of yoga with others every day right now.
