This was my view on my bus ride commute yesterday morning. This was the first rainy day that I can remember in months and I completely forgot how tedious it is to travel in poor weather. Carrying an umbrella on the bus poses many troubles:

• How close to the bus can you get before you have to close your umbrella?
• Where is my third hand to hold my umbrella, bag and swipe my MUNI card (bus pass) all at the same time?
• Ok, I’ve managed to find a seat but now where do I put my wet umbrella?
• Finally, my stop. But when can I open my umbrella so I don’t hit fellow passengers getting off the bus?

So, as you can see, travelling to work in the rain is exhausting. Thank goodness it’s the weekend. Happy WEEKEND!
