The kindness of strangers

On my way home from the gym Thursday evening I walked by a woman clearly waiting for her friends or family in front of a restaurant. She looked like she had been waiting for a while and did not have a smile on her face. Even though she looked disgruntled she was wearing fantastic shoes and I simply walked by her and told her that I loved them. Immediately she perked up and smiled as she said thank you. I am sure she had a wonderful evening with whoever she was waiting for, but I would also like to imagine that her evening was just a little bit more enjoyable after receiving my compliment. It certainly made me feel good to tell her and I have decided that I will try to give a compliment to someone, anyone friend or stranger, at least once a day. Give it a try and let me know some of your compliments 🙂

After feeling so positive about my good deed for the day it was time for a delicious and simple heart warming meal of chicken and veggies.

I marinated the chicken in some balsamic vinegar, sherry vinegar, dijon mustard, chopped basil and some agave honey. And it was perfect plain, but I took it to the next level with my new love, limited edition ketchup!

Anyone else give this a try yet?
